can we get rid of a saber on the server, I think jaytoe said it's called sith sword.
I don't like the saber for 2 reasons, It looks gigantic, it's almost twice as tall as your body, idk if it actually reaches that far, but it's very annoying. Also, when you turn the saber off, to other people it looks like your holding a sword and armed, this is misleading to people who don't know about the saber, even after I learned that it's down, at first glance in a battle it looks like the person is holding a sword, using an emote to make it look lower, or possibly just that the sword has a different stance than other sabers, either way, it's very misleading and I don't think it should be on the server.

edit: another problem is that to the person with the sword/saber when they deactivate it, they can't see that it looks like a sword to other players, and that it just looks like a saber, so when other people attack the person because they appear armed, the person being attacked thinks they're being lamed.

Note: I'm not pushing for the saber to be removed (I think it's client-side anyway) but I'm just providing the evidence of what Warr is saying.

Also note, the person carrying the sword/saber can see it when it is not ignited if they have a big enuf FOV, like 120 or so. The sword angles down so it wouldn't be seen with the default FOV of 80.

There shouldn't be any custom saber on any of our servers- at least KR1 and KR2. I have no control over KR3.

I'm guessing this saber is on KR1?

Yes sir, KR1, but dedicated fans will note that sith_sword is a SP model, thus we all have it be default. But idk if it has extra length, but it as the sword that the whole game leans towards, its Ragnos' staff/sword and thus rendered in MP. I think its for looks only, I haven't noted any special characteristics, but it does look like ur armed even when it is disabled. I personally /amhugged jato to ensure he wasn't armed for my own perception.

Sith sword is known to be longer than normal sabers.. Even though most people can't see it..
But it's not for looks.. It's longer than a normal saber, or atleast that's what I heard from Squall :)

it may look that long, but im 100% sure its reach isnt even close to that

somebody used to use duals with it and the blade went right through me several times

as to the saber off part, if they use 'i thought he was armed' excuse, they r lying, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell they arent armed by how they stand

frankly i see no prob with this saber at all, doesnt bother me ^^
