Hi guys

I thought it would be fitting as it is the 11th September to make a special thread to the lives that were lost on 9/11.

I wanted to say that the day i found out about what happened i was devastated. My uncle died working in the twin towers as a broker. Today i went to my uncles grave back home in Essex. I said my words of prayer to him. It brought back alot of memories from 5 years ago.

I want to say that all the victims of the attack were brave, strong, and fearless. Their families and friends shall never forget the day. For everyone today spare 2 minutes of your time to think about those families of the victims and those victims who were lost.

man, 9/11 so depressin nowadays, the whole day at school today was like weighted down by misery of the tragity that happened 5 years or so ago...

on a side note....sparks, u said hes buried in his home town of essex, essex MA? idk, bc thats basicly were i live... were u live?

So, today was hard. I was in 5th grade when the towers hit, but I was emotionally impacted as I feel none of the others in my school were kids wise. I have felt a deep patriotism since then and, even though I stand alone to say the pledge at times, I do it. Seeing people such as Ladder 39 and other firemen and police officers take on the responsibility that scares away so many others. After 9/11 I painted my room red white and blue, painted a Texas flag on the wall, and began an American collection. So, I figured I'd share with ya'll the prayer I offered up today in our schools crummy moment of silence.

Dear Lord,
I know you don't let us have everything that we ask for, and I know that your reasons are greater then we can comprehend. But, I ask that you please, please Lord, bless this one prayer. I want you to be with the families who lost relatives, be they mothers, fathers, siblings, uncles and aunts, or grandparents. So many have been touched by this, and I know so many of them feel alone in this. They have a need to devestate those who commited the atrocity. But Lord, show them a better way. I support the war, but don't send those who don't understand what they're getting into, who are to stricken with grief to understand the consequences, into battle. Hold them, carry them, keep them safe. And in the midst of all this, help those who were not affected directly, help me and all others who feel as I do.

Great words Mutt, really great... This is our world, new technics, better guns , worser catastrophes, worser attacks...

I know Lord, that we made big mistakes , by whitch we are getting payback . We are humans ( homo sapiens ) with greatest brain , but we cant stop it and i hope, Dear Lord, that you will give the defence to people, whitch didnt do something bad as someone others. Dont let deathman come for us. Protect us. It is prayer from us, people whitch prayer to you, Dear Lord.

That is just what we all have to live with. There is no getting around it.
